FIRST MEETING: We had our first meeting last Sunday with 12 youth and four advisors. Wow! We did a lot of "brainstorming" on an October event which the league is sponsoring for the whole congregation. This will be a Halloween party and "haunted hallway" on Saturday, Oct. 25^th from 7:00 to 11:30 p.m. in Danford Hall. There will be a snacks and activities for young and old, including music provided by a D.J. So dig out your Halloween costume and plan on attending.

The next High School Luther League meeting will be on Oct. 5^th from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. as part of the congregation’s new comprehensive "Youth Night." That meeting will be "pizza and pumpkin time." Don’t miss out! Stay "tuned" for more information!

"YOUTH NIGHT!" The first in a new series of once-a-month Youth Nights will be this coming Sunday (October 5^th) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the church’s parish building. The goal is to gather all of our children and teenage youth to share a common meal and a brief time of worship, and then each age group will meet separately. The meal this Sunday will feature pizza. The break down of the groups is High School, Middle School, Elementary & Preschool. Come and be with us!
